The attached Saskatchewan Mineral Disposition Maps feature active mineral dispositions as administered by The Mineral Disposition Regulations, 1986

You may view and/or print The Saskatchewan Mineral Disposition Maps by individual 1:250,000 scale map sheets (Provincial Map), or by regional north, north central and south compilation map sheets. The datum used for all maps are in UTM NAD83 Extended Zone 13.

To view and/or print individual 1:250,000 Mineral Disposition map sheets, please go to the provincial Saskatchewan map, which has been overlain with the 1:250,000 NTS grid for reference, and select your area of interest by clicking on the desired NTS map sheet. The desired NTS map sheet will be displayed on the screen, right-click the mouse to get the drawn-down menu and select your choices for zoom or pan....etc.

Information captured on the Mineral Disposition Maps includes:

    • Disposition type: Leases (ML, Q), Claims (CBS, S-) and Mineral Permits (MPP)
    • Crown Reserves (C.R.)
    • Provincial and Federal Parks
    • Provincial Recreation Sites
    • Indian Reserves (IR) and Treaty Land Selections (TLS)
    • Hydrology (lakes, streams, rivers)
    • Roads and trails
    • Towns and cities

Topographic bases for the individual NTS maps are in 1:250,000 scale.  Individual polygons for mineral disposition was captured at the 1:50,000 scale.
