The attached Saskatchewan Mineral Disposition Maps feature active mineral dispositions as administered by The Mineral Disposition Regulations, 1986

You may view and/or print The Saskatchewan Mineral Disposition Maps by individual 1:250,000 scale map sheets (Provincial Map), or by the regional north (unsurveyed) and south (surveyed) compilation map sheets. Regional north and south compilation sheets provide true co-ordinates for dispositions. The datum used for all maps are in UTM NAD83 Extended Zone 13.

You may view and/or download the Search Book in Excel format or in TXT or Zip format. Disposition number is a unique number and usually has 6 digits "S-135372". For those having only 5 digits, a space is added in front of the number, "S- 96905".

To view the maps, click on the Autodesk Express icon to download the viewer. This is a one time download. If you have the viewer downloaded before, you don't need to download it again.

To view and/or print individual 1:250,000 Mineral Disposition map sheets, please go to the provincial Saskatchewan map, which has been overlain with the 1:250,000 NTS grid for reference, and select your area of interest by clicking on the desired NTS map sheet. The desired NTS map sheet will be displayed on the screen, right-click the mouse to get the drawn-down menu and select your choices for zoom or pan....etc. The Print option is under the File command at the top of the screen.

To view and/or print selected areas from the regional north and south compilation maps please select north or south. Again, right-click the mouse to get the drawn-down menu and select your choices. The Print option is under the File command at the top of the screen.

Information captured on the Mineral Disposition Maps includes:

  •  
    • Disposition type: Leases (ML, Q), Claims (CBS, S-) and Mineral Permits (MPP)
    • Crown Reserves (C.R.)
    • Provincial and Federal Parks
    • Provincial Recreation Sites
    • Indian Reserves (IR) and Treaty Land Selections (TLS)
    • Hydrology (lakes, streams, rivers)
    • Roads and trails
    • Towns and cities

Topographic bases for the individual NTS maps are in 1:250,000 scale. Topographic bases for the compiled north and south maps are in 1:1000,000 scale. Individual polygon for mineral disposition was captured at the 1:50,000 scale.
